In layman’s language Keyword density means the amount of times a keyword is mentioned in an article. Keyword density is usually expressed in percentage form. It is calculated by dividing the total word count by the number of times a keyword appears in the article. Almost all articles have a density ranging from 3% to 5%. Keyword density will be higher if keyword is mentioned more times in relation to the total word count and will be low if its mentioned less as compared to the total word count.
If you want to calculate Keyword density just follow the easy steps noted below:

First copy the content from a website and paste it in your MS word.
The next step is to find the total number of words in the article. Just press ctrl+A to select all the text. Then go to tools and use the option of word count. You will get the total number of words.
